　　话说有一座小镇，当年三年自然灾难的时候，小镇里的人吃野菜，啃树皮，差一点儿人吃人。

　　而有一个16岁的女孩子叫谭小红，由于贪吃一个煮熟的鸡蛋，差点被活埋而死。

　　那天，谭家惟一的母鸡下了一个鸡蛋，饿得发晕的谭小红观察鸡

　　蛋眼都绿了，一个人在家偷偷煮了吃。蛋清先吃进肚去，这时却听见其母谭大妈回来的声音，慌乱中把鸡蛋黄扔进嘴里，谁知这鸡蛋黄不上不下正卡在她喉咙里。

　　母亲推门进来，见女儿脸色不好就问："你的脸咋这么黄啊?' 谭小红说："我有点儿不舒适。'

　　说完她便晕倒在地，谭大妈赶忙请人抢救，谭小红却再没有缓过气来，家人认为她已死，就支配后事，预备掩埋。

　　当地风俗，未成年人夭折，要在死人枕下搁些钱，以求她到阴间打通阎王爷，好早些转世为人。谭大妈可怜女儿，一个黄花闺女，还没享受人间种.种妙处就死了，于是狠一狠心，东挪西借300元，放在棺材里女儿的枕下，家人亲戚嚎啕大哭把谭小红埋了。

　　第一天走在半路，想着自己去盗外甥女的墓，与理与情说不过去，就转回来。

　　其次天走到坟前，观察表妹在那里难过地哭，想表妹40岁上没了女儿，老了连个端屎倒尿的人都没有，真的太可怜，忍不住陪表妹落下几滴眼泪，坟当然也就没有盗成。

　　到了第三天后半夜，许大憨最终忍耐不住，来到坟头，看左右无人，又月黑风高，正是作案时候，于是伏身埋头开头挖掘，最终扒开坟墓，掀开棺材，只见谭小红面色红润，仿佛睡着一般。

　　许大憨见枕下300元仍在，也不多想，用一根吊带绳，一端挂在自己项上，另一端绕在谭小红脖子上，他腰杆用力一挺，谭小红的上半身就被带起来，许大憨伸手从谭小红枕下取出300元。

　　突然，只见仰起身的谭小红猛一张口，一枚圆东西飞出来，正击在许大憨脑门上。真遇上鬼了，许大憨吓得"妈呀!'大叫一声，扔了钱，脱了吊带绳撒腿就跑。跑回家，脸色苍白，媳妇闻到一股臭味，认真一瞧，原来许大憨被吓得了一裤子屎。从今，许大憨就拉起稀来! 而那谭小红其实原本就没死，只不过让一口气憋在心口了。埋到地下后，受了三天凉气侵袭，再加上许大憨挪动她的`身体，憋闷在肚中的气就被迫往外冲，她一张口吐出那枚蛋黄，那口气也缓过来了。
