　　Good morning，boys and girls!

　　I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech! To begin with ,I want to pop a question .Does everybody dream a good dream last night? Actually ,Today I want to talk about dream with you. Of course, What I want to talk is not a dream you have last night,but a dream about life.

　　Every one has dreams about life, different dreams at different life stage,and we need dreams to support us. Dreams are like the stars we never reach in the sky,but like most mariners,we can chart our course by them. With the dream,we have a direction,with a direction, we were no longer confused.With the dream, there is hope,With hope, we have the strength to fight.

　　Life is tough,and there are always ups and downs, maybe we fail in the way to our aims,and we may feel depressed ,whenever at this time, the dream in our heart can always confort us, encourage us ,and support us to move ahead .

　　So bear in mind your dream and never give up your dream easily. look into the great people’s experiences, you may find the truth that good dream makes a good one, because there is nothing like a dream to create the future and build up our body .

　　Finally ,I would suggest. Have a dream in mind and keep pursuing on it. Try to use your time sensibly, do what you should do to make your dream come ture. Although it is a hard job to get to the top of your dreaming mountain, but as the saying says, “mountain’s high, but man makes the peak”. As long as we keep, we will finally fullfill it .

　　您平时早出晚归，是个辛勤的上班族，好不容易假日可以好好休息，却把时间花在我和姐姐身上，陪了我们练球，练得我和姐姐气喘吁吁，您也全身汗流浃背不服输。有时您因为读过很多的书，所以我们伤透脑筋的.问题，您都还要教我们，您真是允文允武啊！

　　平常晚上想要找邻居打球，妈妈总是说：“要做完家事才能去打球！”您总是快手快脚的做完家事，赶紧找邻居打球。这时候的您，简直比我们还可爱！

　　每当火伞高张的夏天，您全身打得红通通；在天寒地冻的冬天，您打完球全身都暖暖的，由此可见您多么的爱打球。您是爱运动的人，可是您那大腹便便的肚子，我想里面全都是油吧？爸爸，我这样说您不会生气吧？

　　您有时会和朋友喝喝酒，但从不会喝太多，是孩子的好爸爸；您对妈妈的好，是左邻右舍都知道的，您爱运动也是全家人知道的。您常常陪在我们身边，爸爸，您是我心目中最好的爸爸，希望您快一点瘦下来，那一定会更帅气喔！

　　Wow, what a dream it has been for Martin Luther King. But the changing world seems telling me that people gradually get their dreams lost somehow in the process of growing up, and sometimes I personally find myself saying goodbye unconsciously to those distant childhood dreams.

　　However, we need dreams. They nourish our spirit; they represent possibility even when we are dragged down by reality. They keep us going. Most successful people are dreamers as well as ordinary people who are not afraid to think big and dare to be great. When we were little kids, we all dreamed of doing something big and splashy, something significant. Now what we need to do is to maintain them, refresh them and turn them into reality. However, the toughest part is that we often have no ideas how to translate these dreams into actions. Well, just start with concrete objectives and stick to it. Don‘t let

　　the nameless fear confuse the eye and confound our strong belief of future. Through our talents, through our wits, through our endurance and through our creativity, we will make it.

　　Hold fast to dreams, for if dreams die, life is a broken-winged bird that cannot fly. Hold fast to dreams, for when dreams go, life is a barren field frozen with snow. So my dear friend, think of your old and maybe dead dreams. Whatever it is, pick it up and make it alive from today.

　　Farewell, Indifference

　　Who was the most well-known figure in China last month? It‘s Ma JiaJue—the college student who murdered 4 of his roommates. Many people attributed his crime to his poverty and deficient education. In my opinion, his crime also has much to do with his classmates‘ indifference.

　　Indifference is a terrible disease in today‘s colleges and the whole society. It‘s not rare that two students who have studied together for 4 years have never spoken to each other. It‘s not rare that a student who has been absent from class for several days is not noticed at all. It‘s also not rare that a student who has severe psychological problems is not cared about at all.

　　Some people may say ?What the students with psychological problems like Ma JiaJue need is not care but psychotherapy.‖ However, when people are ill, what they need most is not only medical treatment, but also care from people around them. Every smile and every caring word will bring sunshine to their life.

　　I once heard one of my roommates who was an introverted girl sobbing at mid-night. Being afraid of disturbing her, I sent a text message to comfort her. The next day, she told me that she was crying for not being invited to one of her friend‘s birthday party. She thought she was neglected by others. But my message was really comforting which told her someone still cared about her.

　　What can we do to prevent the tragedy of Ma JiaJue from happening again? Some people may say ?Let‘s open more psychological courses in schools.‘ and other people may say ?Let‘s donate more money for the poor students.‘ But I‘ll say ―My fellow student, let‘s give more love and care to our roommates, our classmates and every person around us!‖

　　Hello, everyone ! I'm very glad to stand here. Let me tell you a little story and I hope you may get inspired.

　　There was a rich merchant who had four wives. He loved the fourth wife the most and he took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best. He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He is very proud of her and always wants to show her to his friends. He, too, loved his second wife. She is always patient. When the merchant faces some problems she would always help him out. The merchant's first wife has made great contributions and maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant didn't love the first wife although she loved him deeply.

　　One day, the merchant felt ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He asked each of his favorite three wives, "I love you, now I'm dying. Will you follow me and keep me company?"

　　Now guess who is willing to follow him ?

　　Well, the truth is that none of these three wives is willing to follow him or keep him company. But you know what, at last, a voice called out. "I'll leave with you, I'll follow you wherever

　　you go."The man looked up and there was his first wife. He was very surprised and said,“I should have taken much better care of you while I could have!”

　　Actually, we all have 4wives in our lives. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we luxuriously making it good, it leaves us when we die. Our 3rd wife is our wealth and possessions. When we die, they all go to others. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they have been for us when we are alive, the further they can stay with us is up to the grave. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, we often neglected it in our pursuit of material, wealth, though it always sends us a pleasure.Guess what, the soul is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. So, we can learn from this story that death is the destination of each human being, when we are alive, we crazily pursue

　　everything, a large fortune, high social status, good friendship or even great power. But we will lose them all when our life ends. Only our soul or our person's spiritual world totally belongs to us and no one can take it. It is the real fortune that can company us forever no matter who we are and who we are going to be. Now young guys, just take care of our soul and make it stronger, because this can guide you to wherever you want and can bring
